Few Hiccups with the station

The past three days have been hell trying to keep the radio station going. I was in the process of moving everything to a dedicated desktop computer that I picked up for $50. The mini laptop that was running the station since day one kept updating Windows without asking if I wanted to update and restart. Everything is now moved to the desktop computer and I will keep the mini laptop close by in case the other one goes down.

In other news, we might be changing directions with the radio station. Right now we are playing people from all around the world, which is great, but I would like to advertise local musicians and events that go on around Greencastle, PA. I really don't want to change the name, however, I believe it to be very necessary since Greencastle is nowhere near Nashville. I think we can play and advertise local musicians but keep playing folks from around the world. Anyone have any suggestions?

  1. Thanks for what you are doing, I hope you are successful in keeping the idea of an independent radio with undiscovered talent on the air.

  2. Thanks for the comment. I am working hard to get the radio back up. For some reason it won't connect to the server anymore. Stupid Windows update!
